Lily Dixon is a sophomore double majoring in Arts & Humanities and Public Policy, and double minoring in Music and Design Justice. She is one of the founders and the current President of the CCIY. Lily collaborates with her executive board to design and implement twice weekly arts-based programming for justice-involved youth. As President, some of her responsibilities involve coordinating and communicating with MSU faculty, helping recruit guest artists, and organizing transportation to the facility. Most recently, she helped create an art installation at MSU showcasing the creative expression of incarcerated youth through CCIY programming.

Charlotte Tanner

Charlotte Tanner is a senior double majoring in Arts and Humanities and Psychology, with a minor in Spanish. She is one of the founding members and the current Vice President of the CCIY. Charlotte works closely with the other e-board members to craft and facilitate creative programming for youth affected by incarceration. Through her role as Vice President, she fulfills several responsibilities, including coordinating with supporting MSU faculty, forming partnerships with guest artists and external organizations, organizing and promoting events, and transporting members to the facility. Her most recent endeavors within CCIY consist of installing an exhibition which showcased the creative works of incarcerated youth produced through our program over the last year, as well as expanding the program to include collaborations with another youth facility in the Lansing area.

Abigail Bowers

Abigail Bowers is a sophomore with a major in Arts and Humanities and a minor in Education and Society. As an ALLC ambassador, she participates in the Incarcerated Arts Programming through the MSU Registered Student Organization, Creative Collaboration with Incarcerated Youth, She is one of the founding members and is on the executive board as the Secretary. The executive board plans two trips per week at the Ingham County Youth Center and organizes arts programming for those trips. As secretary, Abby helps to brainstorm activity ideas and design plans for the bi-weekly programming. She also worked on installing and preparing an installation in Snyder-Phillips at MSU, displaying the youth’s artwork throughout the past year.
